Usage runs on credits — 1 credit is roughly one search or pull against the component registry. Credits top up on a schedule rather than in one monthly lump: Free refills every day, Indie and Pro refill every week. Whatever you don't spend stays in your balance.
Card payments aren't switched on yet — subscribing will show a "payments coming soon" note rather than charging you. The free tier works today.
Indie and Pro subscribers earn more every refill the longer they've been with us — up to 1.5x the credits you started with, plus bigger search pages and a few extras along the way. Nothing to claim; it just happens.

Alongside credits, paid plans carry a yearly fair-use cap on how many distinct components an account pulls (3,000/year on Indie, 8,000/year on Pro, measured over a rolling 12 months). Pulling the same component again never counts twice, so normal day-to-day work never comes near it — it exists to stop wholesale scraping of the registry, not to meter your work.
